Hello! My name is Izzy Coopersmith, I am a textile artist and art historian from Philadelphia, PA. I am passionate about bringing color stories to life through weaving, knitting, and natural dyeing. I received my BA in Art History with a minor in Fiber Arts and Material Studies from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. 

My art historical research has been rooted in the environmental implications of textile making, Late Antique objects, and land art. I try to bring elements of the environment and sustainability into everything I do.
